Well recently met with Transport Secretary Chris Grayling to outline the FTAs priorities.

According to Well, the link to the EU is crucial to the industry and its 15,000 members. Wells told the Secretary of State it was vital that any new trade arrangements did not add red tape or make British goods more expensive

Additionally, 11% of the industry's workforce is composed of EU nationals. Finally, shortages in staff would mean that the UK would still have to recruit outside of its border.
