The Ford Ranger has become hugely popular in the last few years in the UK, Bringing some classic American styling and bridging the gap between work horse and everyday car, the latest range of Ford Rangers has a model to suit just about anyone!
Of the models on offer, the Wildtrak edition is the most rugged and off road ready looking model which has really caught the eye of Brits looking for something other than a standard SUV.

At Avondale Motor Park we are happy to have a choice of Wildtrak's available, with low miles, huge specs and of course, stunning Hawk body kits which add some of the range topping Raptor’s sporty good looks.
Each one of these limited edition models features the Raptor styled, chunky logo front grille, bonnet scoop, flared arches, light protectors and big 20 inch alloy wheels with all terrain tyres that not only look incredible but will help when the Ranger is pushed off road or in poor conditions.
And all of this is on top of the already stunning Wildtrak design which adds tinted windows, part leather interior including a leather dash and seats, roof rails, moulded side steps and a stunning interior with an 8” touchscreen entertainment system with sat nav and ambient lighting control.
The Ford Ranger Performs
In all models and trims, the Ranger is a fully capable workhorse with a 1,217kg gross payload in double cab trim with the ability to tow a 3,500kg braked trailer.
Four wheel drive performance is also fantastic, with high ground clearance and switchable 2H, 4H and 4L drive modes so you can cruise on the motorway, engage all 4 wheels in poor conditions or set the pickup up for full off road mode at the flick of a switch.
Driving these wheels are 3.2l Diesel motors offering 200bhp, so you know you have all the pulling power you could need, on or off-road.
And if this all sounds a little rough, don’t worry! The Ranger is a comfortable driver on motorways and in town, with a feel not too far away from an SUV refinement level, impressive for a pickup with so much ability!
Owning and driving the Ford Ranger
Inside the Wildtrack version of the Ranger, you will see the Wildtrak part leather interior, with logo embroidered seats in the front which are positioned electrically and are heated. The dash, door trim and centre console are all presented in leather and you even get dual zone climate control!
To offer even more comfort, you can choose the even choose the interior lighting to create a more relaxed atmosphere, along with USB inputs to charge and connect your devices and rear cameras so manoeuvring the truck is a breeze, despite it’s size!
